About Impelid

Impelid is about the desire to be more fulfilled by our work by taking control of it. Realizing that there is no guarantee of fame or fortune by going out on our own, but going anyway. While the road is long, and risk abounds, what we learn on this journey is itself the reward.

Established in Minneapolis in 2017

Today Impelid hosts my occasional chronicle of lessons learned and articles exploring topics of interest to business founders.

I started my journey in the Fall of 2017 when I exchanged employment for an open road. I quit a good engineering job to live an entrepreneurs life. Initially, Impelid was meant to be a software company developing tools for solo-entrepreneurs, freelancers and owners of (very) small businesses. Though Impelid as a software company has taken a vacation while I focus on other projects, this site lives on.
